What years would you say each method is applicable to? The number line would be used in KS1 and the expanded method in lower KS2 then the more formal methods in higher KS2 correct? When dealing with decimals though the number line could be used in that context in yr 5/6 I take it? Just interested if that is the expected way for us to use them.</description>
