What is a commutative property for multiplication?

I am doing division and multiplication homework. Its asking what a commutative property is…And i dont know what it is. PLEASE HELP ME OUT HERE PEOPLE!!!

commutative property is where:

a + b = b + a

or

ab = ba.

this does NOT work in division.
