How do i change this improper fraction to a mixed number?

I need to change this improper fraction to a mixed number.
41/6 how do i do that?
This is what i did: 41 divided by 6 = 6.833333333
So then would the mixed number be 6 and 83/6 ?
If not, can you tell me step by step how to change improper fractions to mixxed number. And help me with my problem.

6 goes in to 41 6 times fully, that is your whole number. The difference between 36 and 41 is 5, that is your numerator. The denominator stays the same; 6. The answer is 6 5/6.

    6 5/6 is the answer.

    You find out how many times the bottom number fits into the top number and that’s your whole number (on the left). The fraction (to the right) is the remainder of that division over the original number.

    41 divided by 6 = 6 with a remainder of 5
    so the mixed number is 6 5/6. the remainder goes on top of the 6 (the number you divided by)

    Ask your self. How many times does 6 go into 41. [ it has to be a whole number 1,2,3,4]
    So the answer is 6=36
    Now ask yourself what is 36 minus 41
    You should get 5
    So the answer is 6 5/6

    First divide 41 by 6 but with remainder which equals 6 R5. the 6 is the whole number and 5 will be the numerator therefore, 6 5/6. If u wanna check, change the number back to a mixed number… so (6)(6) (meaning multiply) is 36 plus 5 equals 41… keeping the denominator the same, the answer is again 41/6
    so.. the answer to ur questions will be 6 5/6

    You’ve got 41 sweets and need to put them into piles of 6.
    The most you can get would be 6 lots of 6 which makes 36 sweets, and then there’s 5 left. So the answer would be 6 (and) 5/6. :)

    dont do it on a calc. first off. secondly divide it to the nearest it can get without having a decimal which is 36 _(x6)_ then you take the left over which is 5 and put it over your denominator(5/6) meaning your answer is 6 5/6.
