First, we need to …
First, we need to subtract 7.7 from each side and simplify
11k + 7.7 - 7.7 = 15.4 - 7.7
11k = 7.7
Then divide by 11 on each side to get the k by itself and simplify to get our answer.
11k/11 = 7.7/11
k = 0.7
