What are some good websites to find bible study worksheets to do on my own?

Sunday, January 24th, 2010

I am fifteen years old and i am trying to find some worksheets or lessons or lesson plans for a bible study i can do on my own. This bible study is just my personal time with God and its only me in it so i would really appreciate if anyone knows some websites i can go to so i can find these things. Thanks!

This website offers a PDF book for each book of the bible containing lots of question to make you think about what the bible is saying. I found it a good resource. Also, another great thing to use to help you study is commentary book, this will deepen your understanding of what the text is saying. Plus, the articles from about.com gives great pointers as well.

How do I make multiple groups of worksheets in an Excel workbook?

Sunday, December 27th, 2009

I have a load of workbooks, each with a few worksheets in them. I want to put them all together in to one workbook, but keep them in seperate groups (that correspond to their original workbooks). Ideally, I would like it so that there is more than one row of tabs along the bottom. Does anyone know how I might be able to do this?

What you’re looking to do, it can’t be done.

Where can I find fun colorful math worksheets for elementary students online?

Monday, November 2nd, 2009

I’ve looked at sites with free printables but they aren’t fun or colorful enough for kids. Does anyone know a site with free and good worksheets? What about a site with worksheets which I can buy?

All else fails you can make your own.

I’m not really a huge fan of worksheets…only when done in conjuction to a hands on activity where they are actually involved (kids 8 and under especially learn via being involved and it doesn’t hurt with older kids)

So how about you plan a hands on activity with a worksheet as a follow up? For example, have them measure things around the classroom and mark their results on a worksheet you’ve made? Or go on a scavenger hunt? etc. Be creative.

Where can I find worksheets to help with my kids self estem?

Saturday, October 31st, 2009

Looking for a website with worksheets or maybe someone has some they can e-mail me.

Worksheets do not help with a child’s self-esteem.

Spend some time learning about how a child’s self-esteem is built up–by reading books on it yourself–and then take action. There’s no quick fix, and definitely no worksheets for a child. The worksheets might say they help, but building self-esteem in a child is not about giving them a few worksheets and they’re "fixed"; it’s about the day-in, day-out of how people treat them and how they view themselves.

You can do a search online and will find things:

Is it possible to automatically sync the worksheets within an Excel document?

Wednesday, October 28th, 2009

I have a spreadsheet in Excel which contains of four worksheets. One of the worksheets is a compilation of all the information in the other three sheets.

My question is: is there an option somewhere that will allow the information in the other worksheets to be automatically synced should I choose to add or update information in one of the sheets?

To link the data between worksheets you have to reference from one to the other.

So in Sheet4 A1 put
=SUM(Sheet1!A1,Sheet2!A1,Sheet3!A1)

You can drag this formula down and across to create a complete total sheet which always stays up to date.

does anyone know where i can find easy and free ”missing picture” printouts. these are for 6 year olds with disabilitys so they have to be easy. example: a picture of an elephant with its trunk missing.

Im not sure, but if you dont have any luck, maybe you can make your own! Take a picture, and with Paint, you can erase something from it! … Good luck!
