I need good studying tips for pre algebra and history?

I am in 7th grade. I am studying pre algebra and the beginnings of our nation. I have exams coming up and need really good studying tips so I can get and A. I do well with funny songs and saying like. George was first because at birth he was first. Like that.

umm…wat i usually did for gr. 7 canadian history was put tunes of my fav songs into the importance of those wars and sstuff…n for algebra..i just practised….a lot…that helps…n do all the questions in your book…i hope this helped..
