I grow up in China and speak Cantonese. If I drive for two hours, I hear people speak different dialects than mine. I can't understand them fully until we communicate in Mandarin. I can find a dialect map here: http://www.lib.utexas.edu/maps/middle_east_and_asia/china_ling_90.jpg but I don't think it's very proper because in reality the dialects we speak are much more than those indicated!!!<br><b>References : </b><br> I guess there’re thousands of dialects spoken in China besides Mandarin.
