Yes in Excel 2007 use the pagel ayout tab then background choose file. Which appears in every cell.
In Excel 97 to 2003 it’s just Format background and select file

Last year I never understood how to divide with decimals. My question is 244 divided by 0.2. How do I do this problem?
In this case it is easy. Just forget about the decimal.
What is 244.0 divided by 2?
122.0 Right? Then move the decimal over one position.
You get 1220
So do the same thing with whatever it is.
For example… 464.200 divided by .422.
Forget the decimal on the second number and just divide 464.200 by 422. You should get 1.1. Then go put the decimal back in (3 places), giving you the answer 1100.000 or just 1100.

That works, but here is a slightly easier way…
12345.678 divided by 5.400
Multiply both parts times the number of digits to the right of the decimal in tens. Since there are 3 spaces we need 3 zeros. So multiply both pieces by 1,000 (three zeros). Then divide out the whole numbers.
another example… 2.456 divided by 1.228. Multiply both sides by 1,000 (3 places), giving you 2456 divided by 1228.
You can use any multiplier, but the easiest is the smallest. No matter what the multiplier, you will always get the same answer.

cancel out the like terms, leaving you with
3/1, or 3

I’m taking a sample math placement test and I cannot find on the internet or in my dad’s old algebra book how to solve a quadratic formula. 9+(3/x)-(2/x^2)=0 is the problem. Do I get rid of the fractions first and then put that into the quadratic formula?? Thanks for any help I can get!
9 + (3 / x) - (2 / x^2) = 0
Let 1 / x = u.
9 + 3u - 2u^2 = 0
2u^2 - 3u - 9 = 0
(2u + 3)(u - 3) = 0
u = - 3 / 2 or u = 3.
Therefore, as x = 1 / u:
x = - 2 / 3 or x = 1 / 3.
So I am not doing that well on system of equations in my algebra class and I need a little help. So please tell me any good system of equations worksheets online.

to learn the 9 times tables hold both your hands out so you can count the fingers from one to ten. Then if you want to work out what 9 x 4 is you put down your fourth finger and the fingers numbered 1,2 and 3 on the left of it each stand for tens. There are six fingers left up on the right of it. So therefore the answer is 36!
